Sandbar Amelia Island is excited to announce the we have partnered with Nassau County Animal Services for our Barktober Pawty on the Patio event! Join us October 28th for a fun afternoon of costume-wearing pups, unique cocktails, and delicious food from 12pm to 4pm!
Local to north Florida, Nassau County Animal Services works to protect public safety and animal care through sheltering, adoption programs, education and animal law enforcement. Their program promotes responsible pet ownership, compassion towards animals, and safe human-animal interactions.
During the event, Nassau County Animal Services will have pups to play with and information about adoptions. 15% of all proceeds during the event will be donated to aid in rescue and education efforts.
In addition, Diplomatico Rum will also be sponsoring the event with unique seasonal cocktails available for guests during the event. Sandbar is excited to offer a place where people can enjoy great food and drink while helping support a great cause.
Sandbar will be holding a doggie costume contest! All dogs dressed in costume will be entered in the event and guests will have a chance to vote for their favorite festive pup. The winner will be announced at 3pm and will receive a gift basket with goodies for the pup and the parent. Winner must be present at time of announcement to win.
