Sandbar Amelia Island is excited to be partaking in the family-fun of this year’s Run Like the Dickens Fun Run! This one-mile fun run will be held on Main Beach, just out front our restaurant, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, starting at 8:30 AM.
Following the race, Sandbar will be offering hot chocolate and coffee to runners and spectators. Breakfast sandwiches will also be available for purchase.
At 10 AM, some very special guests will be joining the fun. Santa Claus and Mrs .Claus will be coming to Sandbar Amelia Island! Guests can visit Santa on the beach from 10 AM to 1 PM. Santa will be spending time listening to kids Christmas wishes, taking photos on our large adirondack chair, spreading holiday cheer, and creating unforgettable memories. Kids will also get a FREE cookie to decorate with purchase of a kids meal from 10-1pm.
